Laboratory of Methods of Nuclear Physics Experiments

The Laboratory of Methods of Nuclear Physics Experiments was established in 2019 on the basis of the group of nuclear physics experiment methods. The group was formed in 2015 at the MIPT General Physics Department, several laboratories of the Institute for Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and with the support of the MIPT Laboratory of High Energy Physics.
The group and subsequently the laboratory were established to develop methods for conducting and analyzing data of particle physics and nuclear physics experiments. Also, the laboratory personnel is engaged in the introduction of modern information technologies to experimental physics and education.

Particularities of the laboratory's approach to solving scientific problems of today are the following:
● Combining scientific work with the educational process to ensure continuity of scientific
experience
● Participation of the laboratory personnel, including undergraduate students, in the global
level experiments
● Application of the most modern methods in working on physical experiments
