Laboratory for the Photonics of Quantum Nanostructures
Development of scientific foundations and principles for creating highly sensitive photoelectric IR imaging utilizing consolidated thin layers of semiconductor colloidal quantum dots using the effect of photo-current amplification by plasmon optical nanoantennas
The research objective is developing the theoretical fundamentals for IR visualization devices utilizing semiconductor colloidal quantum dots and plasmonic optical nanoantennas.
Vladimir Razumov

Head of the laboratory
Professional experience
ScD in physics and mathematics, corresponding member of RAS
Russian chemist, a corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences Research areas: photochemistry of condensed matter, structured and nanoscale systems. The results of research carried out under his supervision make a significant contribution to the development and study of kinetics and mechanism of photochemical reactions in solutions, micro dispersed, and molecular assemblies, in amorphous and crystalline state of matter, and study of physical-chemical properties of silver halide nanoparticles. He has proposed a new non-silver photographic process: photoinduced phase change used at the hidden image enhancement stage.
In 1973, he graduated from the MIPT Faculty of Molecular and Chemical Physics
Ph.D. in physics and mathematics (1979; thesis topic — "Study of deactivation processes of excited states of arylacetylenes and diarylethylenes", branch of study 01.04.17 — Chemical Physics),
ScD in physics and mathematics (1993; thesis topic — "Photoinitiated transformations of diarylethylenes in condensed matter", branch of study 01.04.17 — Chemical Physics).
Since 1973, he has been working at the IPCP RAS:
engineer, junior researcher (1978),
senior researcher (1983);
from 1992 to 1997 — Head of the Photochemistry Department,
in 1997–2012 — Deputy Head of Research,
from 1989 to the present time — Head of the Laboratory of Photonics of Nanoscale Structures.
Since 1988, he has been teaching at MIPT: associate professor in the Chemical Physics Department,
since 1999 — professor and Deputy Head of the MIPT Department of Supramolecular System Physics and Nanophotonics;
since 2009 — professor at the MSU Faculty of Fundamental Physical and Chemical Engineering.
In 2009, he was elected chairman of the Scientific Center of RAS in Chernogolovka.
