Wave Processes and Control Systems Lab

In line with the 2009-2018 Development Program for Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Higher Professional Learning “Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology” as a research university, the Laboratory of Physical and Mathematical Problems in Wave Processes was renamed as the Laboratory of Wave Processes and Control Systems. S.N.Garichev took D.S.Lukin’s position as laboratory head, and the laboratory was respectively reassigned from the Department of Problems of Physics and Energetics to the Department of Radio Engineering and Cybernetics (a Subdepartment of Wave Processes and Control Systems).

Field of research
MIPT’s Research and Education Center for radiophysics and engineering cybernetics (Applied Mathematics campus building, floor 10) in cooperation with OJSC Radiofizika (JSC Concern VKO "Almaz-Antey") engages in the research of antenna and radiolocation technologies. The study is mainly MIPT-based, although one of the sites is located in the Design Bureau of Moscow “Kompas” (Russian Technologies State Corporation). The enrollment of 3-year students has completed, and the laboratory premises are almost ready for use after repair works. N.P.Chubinsky and A.S.Dmitriev will be reading lectures at the Research and Education Center (Applied Mathematics campus building).
