The laboratory works in close scientific and technological cooperation with our partner organizations—Energia URSC, Central Research Institute of Chemistry and Mechanics, and the Central Research Institute of Mechanical Engineering, all of which are recognized as the most prominent representatives of the Russian military industrial sector.
The Head of Laboratory is Sergey Avtaykin, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs of the Department of Aerophysics and Space Research.
The laboratory staff comprises 12 researchers, including 3 doctors, 3 candidates of physical/mathematical and technical sciences, and 3 postgraduate students, as well as 6 engineers, 11 graduate students, and 4 holders of bachelor's degrees.
Our scientific and technological scope of interest includes advanced space systems, mathematical simulation, spacecraft, autopilot systems, control systems, space data transfer systems, communications, information exchange, optimizing control, group control systems for spacecraft, multiagent technologies, mini-spacecraft clusters, intelligent satellite group control systems, distributed control, and intersatellite communications.
Development of functioning mechanisms for management information systems used for unmanned aircraft and surface, sea, airborne, and space-based complexes.
