Applied Cybernetic Systems Lab

Founded in 2015 by Tagir Aushev and Andrey Ivaschenko, the laboratory focuses on research and development projects in human state monitoring systems and human-machine interfaces. To bring the most promising developments to market, stand-alone companies are established in the areas where the lab is active.

The main scientific and technological focus of the laboratory is conducting research and development in the field of human state monitoring systems and human-machine interfaces, as well as work on radio electronic devices using state-of-the-art components, digital signal processing algorithms, and software for microcontrollers and desktop applications.

Projects:
  1. Development of an algorithm for driver video image processing and the devices for algorithm implementation.

  2. CardioBadge, a cardio activity monitoring system based on the analysis of heart rhythm variability.

  3. Evaluation of psychophysiological state of the crew based on measured physiological indices.

  4. BiTronics Lab, educational projects in neurotechnologies — in particular, the National Technology Initiative Olympiad in neurotechnology.

Vacancies:
Engineer trainee
Required:
  • Experience in working with Arduino platforms.
Preferred:
  • Experience in electronics design, installation, and adjustment.
  • Knowledge of electrical measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of printed-circuit board design using special CAD (e.g., Altium Designer).


Electronics engineer
Required:
  • Knowledge of STM32 microcontrollers programming: working with periphery (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN), realization of mathematical algorithms.
  • Experience in designing, installing, and adjusting electronic devices.
  • Knowledge of electrical measuring instruments.
  • Knowledge of printed-circuit board design using the Altium Designer software or a desire to learn.
  • Portfolio featuring complete microcontroller projects.
Preferred:
  • Knowledge of modern electronic components. Knowledge of programmable logic devices.
