MIPT announces the winners of the second stage of the senior research fellowship competition

MIPT announced winners of the second stage of the competition for senior scientist positions. The winners of the competition will work in the Institute’s leading laboratories from 2018 to 2020. The event is held as part of Project 5-100.

The following applications were approved:

From Oct. 1 to Nov. 30, 11:59 p.m. applications will be accepted for the last, third stage. The winners will be selected by Dec. 10. The competition is open for Russian and foreign scientists who hold a PhD or a higher doctoral degree and have at least one year of experience in leading international research centers.

The winners will be employed by MIPT as senior research fellows in a laboratory of their choice with a monthly salary of 120,000-150,000 rubles, or about $2,100-2,700. The selection will be carried out based on applications and competition results. For the position of a senior research fellow, the funding is provided for 24 months or less. If necessary, the scientist will be lodged in the Institute’s dormitory. The accommodation is paid for in accordance with the order of the rector on payments for dormitories.
