Master degree programs

All graduate students of MIPT become members of academic communities called Phystech Schools, each of which usually combines two departments of similar specializations. The departments are responsible for teaching the core subjects — mathematics, physics, and chemistry or informatics, depending on the specialization — while the schools provide students with research opportunities. Phystech Schools collaborate with Russia’s leading industrial and IT companies, the research institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and develop on-campus laboratories and research facilities, striving to provide students with the most relevant, in-demand, and high-quality education.
