    About the laboratory

TheLaboratory of Problems in Physical and Mathematical Wave Processes was renamed the Laboratory of Wave Processes and Controlling Systems as part of the implementation of FSAEI HVE Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology State University, a programaimed at developing MIPTas a research university for the 2009–2018 period. Management of the laboratory passed from D. Lukin to S. Garichev and, as a result, the laboratory fell under the guidance of DREC instead of DPPE (Chair of Wave Processes and Controlling Systems).

    Field of research

The MIPT Research and Educational Center of Radio Physics and Technique Cybernetics (Applied Mathematics Unit, 10th floor) along with Radiophysics OJSC (part of the JSC Concern VKO Almaz-Antey) solves tasks in aerial equipment and radio detection. Students may carry out research at MCB Compass of GK Russian Technologies, but academic study takes place at MIPT. Third-year students have enrolled and rooms for carrying out laboratory research are being set up.  N. Chubisnkiy and A. Dmitriev will conduct lectures in REC (Applied Mathematics Unit).

New equipment for the laboratory is currently being purchased and installed on the second floor of the Main Building. Partnership relationshave been established with UC Berkeley (California, USA). There are various research projects being carried out by project staff.
