    Short description of the laboratory’s activities:

    The laboratory works in the field of high energy physics and elementary particles, participates in the international Belle and Belle2 experiments, the KEK scientific research centre in Japan and in the CMS experiment at the CERN scientific research center.

    Field of scientific research:

    -the study of the fundamental properties of elementary particles, the search for differences in these properties between matter and anti-matter, in particular the study of the effect of CP-violation in the decay of B-mesons in the Belle and Belle 2 experiments.

    -the study of new particles and states in the Belle and Belle 2 experiments, in particular the search for and study of exotic particles such asX(3872);

    -the study of the decay of B-mesons in the CMS experiment at CERN;

    -the use of statistical methods for data analysis in adjacent fields of science and technology, in particular in mass spectrometers, the creation of models for big-data processingetc.
