    About the laboratory

    The laboratory was established in 2014 as part of the 5-100 project with the aim of increasing the competitiveness of Russia’s best universities amongst the world’s leading science and education centers.

    Our team is involved in modern computing tasks for oil-exploration and the development of carbohydrate extraction sites. Computing uses high-productivity parallel architectures, including clusters with GPGPU (general purpose graphics processing units).

    Field of research

    Presently, the laboratory’s energies are concentrated on two fields: vibro-interactions on oil-bearing layers and thermogas impact on the collector.


    The tasks of calculating the distribution of acoustic waves in a solid environment with external mechanical interactions.



    The modelling of hydrodynamic processes within the layers: the numerical integration of the equations for the hydrodynamics of porous environments taking into account heat transfer, phase balance and chemical reactions.
