2. Open Positions
2.1 Sr. Quantitative Developer, .NET, Moscow-based
Requirements: degree in Physics/Math/CS, practical experience in quantitative development, .NET development experience, fluent English
Pluses: Prior experience with derivative pricing/financial engineering, familiarity with numerical methods (different implementation languages), working knowledge of stochastic calculus/probability theory (e.g. Ph.D. thesis in a related area, etc); familiarity with Excel/VBA/VSTO.NET
Primary function: You will be working with one of our clients located in London, UK. You will be responsible for implementing energy derivative pricing models, testing the existing models and integrating them into the client’s proprietary trading systems. The necessary training and the methodology for the models will be provided by our Sr. Analysts. You will be communicating closely with the client via mail/voice, gathering the required information about their pricing models and proprietary system APIs, reacting to the feedback they provide, etc. You should be ready for regular visits to their office in London. London work hours (12 – 20 MSK).
Salary: $2000-3000 per month depending on experience and performance
2.2 Sr. Quantitative Developer, C++, London-based
Requirements: degree in Physics/Math/CS, practical experience in quantitative development, extensive C++ development experience, various numerical libraries, STL/boost etc, SQL Server, fluent English
Pluses: Prior experience with derivative pricing/financial engineering, familiarity with numerical methods, stochastic calculus/probability theory; familiarity with Excel/VBA/VSTO.NET, familiarity with credit risk, loan pricing etc.
Primary function: You will be working on-site for one of the major investment banks located in London, UK. Your main responsibilities will be the implementation of advanced models developed by client’s Quantitative Analytics team, also the review/improvement/maintenance of the existing code. Limited training on relevant subjects and links/materials for further reading will be provided prior to the interview.
Salary: GBP 45K-50K per annum depending on interview results
2.3 Sr. Developer, .NET, Moscow-based
Requirements: degree in CS or physics/maths, experience in enterprise development, .NET, complex UI components, SQL Server, reading English
Pluses: experience in financial application development, advanced analytical UI development, quantitative development, fluent English
Primary function: You will be working in our Moscow-based team, developing various systems we build for our clients around the world. Depending on your skill set and your interests, you will be working on various part of the system, ranging from analytical calculations, business logic to advanced UI, enterprise integration interfaces, etc.

Salary: $1800 – 2500 per month depending on experience and performance
2.4 .NET Developer, .Moscow-based
This is basically the opportunity for talented but less experienced developers to familiarize themselves with an interesting subject area, gain experience of working with foreign clients, and grow to senior level.
Near-graduates, just-graduates and post-graduate students in CS/maths/physics, with .NET/SQL knowledge are welcome. See our Sr. Developer position for ideal skill set. You must have good understanding of team development tools/processes, be self-motivating and ready to learn fast, no “babysitting”. Salary: $1200 - 1700 per month depending on experience and performance, eventual promotion to Sr. Developer
2.5 Business analyst, Moscow or London based
Requirements: degree in Physics/Math/(maybe CS), probability theory/statistics, familiarity with Excel/VBA, good English (fluent for London-based positions)
Pluses: experience with derivatives pricing and risk management, experience in software development/specification
Primary function: You will be working in our Moscow-based team, or on-site for one of our London-based clients. Your main responsibilities will be to participate in models development together with our Sr. Analysts, gather business requirements, and develop quality functional specifications for our development team and the clients. The initial training and help will be provided by our senior staff, growth opportunities as your skills and familiarity with the subject area grow.
Salary (Moscow-based): $1500 – 2500 per month depending on experience and performance
Salary (London-based): GBP40K-50K per annum depending on experience and performance
